The days are getting shorter and the temperature is slowly dropping. With the holidays approaching, it’s a good time to reflect on everything we’re thankful for. At Quattro, there are a lot of reasons to feel grateful. To start, we are thankful for the talented colleagues we get to work alongside with and the great companies and organizations we get to work with. Though perhaps more importantly, we are thankful that sometimes our biggest wins have less to do with the bottom line, and everything to do with who we’re helping.

One of the most impactful days for us last year was during the holiday season, when we donated gifts to children in need at a local organization. Seeing smiles light up the faces of dozens of thankful children instilled a feeling in each of us that made one thing very clear:

At Quattro, we care.

We care about our team’s passions, interests and values, which fostered the establishment of Quattro’s community service action committee, aptly named “Quattro Cares.”

The motivation behind the formation of this committee was simple: at Quattro, our greatest assets are our people. Quattro’s distinctive blend of skills, personalities and beliefs is what defines our unique culture, encouraging employees to not only do well by producing one-of-a-kind work for our clients, but to “do good.”

What does Quattro care about?

After experiencing the gratifying feeling we got from “doing good,” we wanted to find a way to give back into our workplace culture on an ongoing basis. The first step in establishing a successful philanthropic program at Quattro was identifying the causes and organizations that Quattro’s employees care about. So, we asked employees to complete a survey with questions regarding the different causes or charities each finds important.

The responses to these questions allowed the Quattro Cares committee to establish a meaningful initiative and cadence for Quattro’s philanthropic efforts.

Quattro Cares Efforts

Through our Quattro Cares initiative, we aim to continuously participate in philanthropic projects that are of value to Quattro’s employees. Our projects include pro-bono initiatives, volunteer efforts and fundraisers. Whether it’s hosting a Lemonade Stand to help fight childhood cancer, organizing a toy drive for kids in need, forming a team to participate in a race for Breast Cancer, or aiding in the strategy and development of digital marketing efforts for local non-profits, Quattro’s employees have come together to give back to the community.

Forming Your Own Philanthropy Programs

Dedicating resources to focus on non-revenue efforts may seem daunting, but taking the time to initiate a program like this is a no-brainer when considering the benefits. Implementing an ongoing philanthropy program in the workplace has countless advantages, including:

  • Differentiating your company
  • Networking with your community
  • Humanizing your brand
  • Creating more productive, cohesive teams

Corporate philanthropy programs driven by the values of an organization make employees feel like they’re a part of something larger than just their business. Every minute spent volunteering, or dollar earned towards a charity helps make a difference.

This holiday season, join Quattro in “doing good” by giving back to your community.
